Lesson Learned

As operation team:

1. Great communication make Great result!

    Believe it or not, some of our mistakes come out from miscommunication. that why if only we fix our communication we can undo some of our mistakes.

2.Trust is a must! 

 Great communication comes from trust. How can we communicate and understand each other if we don't trust each other?

3.Dont take what people said for granted!

Lets talk about condenser mic case. Our team already decide we only want to use condenser for the sound of tap dance and let the conversation handled with our clip on and our clip on system. But, Mr. Budi made us lost our confidence and made us follow his instruction without consider and think about it deeply. And guess what? Mic condenser is such a waste ! it only destruct our visual effect and didn't catch any conversation of artistic team.

4. Self confidence is not prohibited, Self confidence is a needed!

This lesson work for the sam case as point 3.

5.Its not about what mistakes we've made, But its about how we can overcome and get through it.

we have some conflict with artistic team because of shared items and else. At first, it makes us down. but now, we just realise its not about that. Its not about we've made mistakes but how can we bring solution and fix our mistakes.

As Myself:

Its bad that sometimes we can't get what we love, but it doesn't mean we can't love what we got.

At first I really dislike being operation.

At first I think operation is such unnecessary division, not cool, and really not suit me.

At first I think, I will not work hard and will not give my best.

But, as the time goes by.

I really love being in this team.

I really love looking for and negotiate with many vendor.

I really love made system for parking, transportation, and else.

I do think that operation is cool, very necessary, and suit me!

I'm satisfied. :)

Week 9 FINALLY :')

Well here is our last (supposed to ) target-reality-difference table.:')

As the head of Operation I do appreciate and proud of my team! It is true that we have many informal talk at our meeting, sometimes we lazy and have many delay at our target. But, at D-Day? My team really work hard! Head over heels they do they work sincerely. Don't care what people said and think. They just do they best! :') They're great and I can't explain how I proud to be part of them :)

Okey, enough with my sensitive/weepy sides and lets move to our professional sides.
I'd like to talk about that Target-Difference-Reality Table from 3rd point first:
"Coordinate with all D-Day Team Field" I dare to give full point for this target, because I know my team do their coordination well.
For Backstage: Puguh and Lucky do the property things well with Rivan, Ammar and Artistic Team
For Transportation and Parking: Jason Wijaya with Agus S do the shuttle system (which Me, Benita, Steffi and puguh made it at week 8) and Coordinate A.Team transport
Zaim and Rizki.N do they best job being Emergency runner, I never thought they can be that sincere and diligent being emergency runner:') so proud of them!
And for Me I coordinate the outside area. I am the Head (kordinator lapangan) of outside area.

At week 8, Me, Steffi, and Benita made the flow and rundown from props loading- rehearsal-D day- until unloading props. We also made ourself a job desc as a 3 Area  korlap. Thats why We can ensure all flow running smoothly :) thats why we got many stars at excellent box (:

For providing transport, not only for artistic team, we even provide transport (shuttle) for viewers from Cepot to Taman Budaya.

And for the last point, We already complete all payment and already move our goods from Taman Budaya. But, theres some things we haven't return to the vendor. (like SBM's Projector) and we also haven't have further plan what will we do to our sterofoam properties. Thats why we still have -0,25% differences.

Weekly progress week 8

We didn't prepare ourself for emergency situation well. But today, we determine to make a list of what problems will appear and how to deal with it.

Week 7 Weekly report

Here is operation week 7 weekly progress:

This week, we help artistic team find the cheapest vendor for sterofoam (re: yoyo), we also help them providing mineral water for the rehearsal.
This week, we contact truck vendor, booth vendor, and sound lighting vendor. We have many problems with our sound lighting 'exploded' budget and we with treasurer and Mr.Ady have to solve it by negotiate with vendor.
Point 3, make sure all the goods are well prepared. This week, we control our sterofoam vendor and make sure that he make our goods the way we want it.
For the last point, security, medic, and usher team can't be socialized yet. because operation, event, Vice EP and EP still discuss it.

Weekly Progress Week 6

So, this is the picture of our Weekly target.
From the picture above, we can conclude that we still haven't manage to complete our target properly.
One of the main reasons are we are having our mid term test, so we are concentrating for our test first.

The best part of this week target is, we finally complete our previous week target such as the Handy Talkie, Generator which the procurement will be held at 11th of March 2014. We also found the supplier for Truck

Well, its our fifth week and its Tuesday again! its time for weekly progress report!

Hey operation lover, I would like to inform you that our job was done. Below is a table that shows our performance in week 4. Check it !

Ok, we see more in week 5 why can happen difference between targets and reality.  Review in point 1 (Helping Artistic team),  Here we've helped many artistic team in trouble shared items. Shared items we get to rent and make the property. After consultation with the scenery artistic team, we will use steroform, wood, tripex, and duplex to make property. we collect designs from all genres show  and concluded that a suitable design for all. We've made ​​a list of vendors to make steroform. We focused on making the property of steroform because it takes a long time. We haven’t time to make a list of vendors to rent property. Thus the difference of 0.15% obtained we still have not found a suitable place to rent property rather than create. But we can get list vendor to rent in week 5.

                Review in point 2 (Making deal with vendor), disini kita susah membuat deal vendor karena banyak hambatan yang terjadi. Contoh hambatan tersebut : banyak vendor yang kita list tidak memiliki beberapa syarat dari sbm menjadikan kita harus mencari vendor lagi. Kami masih menunggu turunnya dana dari tresurer karena kebanyakan vendor meminta dp dulu dan belum percaya kami bisa membayar hutang tersebut. 0.05% disini kita dapatkan dari pemadam kebakaran, ambulance

Here we are hard to make a deal vendors because many obstacles that occur. Examples of these barriers : many vendors that do not have some requirement list from sbm makes us must have to find another vendor. We are still waiting for the funding of tresurer as most vendors are asked dp first and believe we have not been able to pay the debt. 0:05% here we got from the fire department, ambulance.
